ROBERT

Do you remember when you got records from some mailorder and every record told you stories? They where packed w/ little inserts, writings, fanzines, pictures etc ... so you got a part of the whole band while reading their thoughts and what the record was all about – what was behind the music. You could spend easily a whole day w/ one record and it would be amazing.

Latley it seems more important to have limited versions and colored vinyl of a record then any inserts or anything conveying something deeper about the band. It´s kinda depressing and sad that the only thing that matters about a record now is how much of a „collectors item“ it is. I mean, collecting records has been a passion of mine for morethen 15 years now and I still love it! But I have always bought records because I loved the music what bands have to say, and what inspired the music ... I never bought a record cause I thought I could sell it for much more money later.

I think that is why I´m so psyched about this split LP - because both bands want reach people w/ the music, with their thoughts and ideas. They want to use the music as an instrument to tell people whats going on, want to let people think about certain stuff. That makes a record so powerful and it feels sooooo good to see bands that still care about politics and the idea that all the conversations lyircs and angry music is followed by actions!!!

Thanx so much to all the people that are involved in this project. Question everything and stay ANGRY.
